About Ben

My family loves living downtown on 10th Avenue between Van Buren and Tyler. We’re in the tan craftsman with the tumbling rock wall and beautiful selection of native plantings. Tenth is a great biking street, so if you’re rolling by please stop and say hello!

Remember Sacred Heart Hospital? I can’t recall the room number, but that’s where I greeted the world. I have so many great memories of growing up here in Eugene, but I’ve also seen the world from Europe to Asia to South America. My wide range of experiences gives me a great perspective on this wonderful city of ours. Of this there is no doubt: Eugene can be a terrific place to raise a family.

My wife Meagan and my daughter Jun and I are eagerly awaiting a baby boy this October! We’re in nesting mode, working on the house and the garden and taking on a backyard rental construction project. Hands are full! I could go on and on, but for now here’s a bit about my past:
